The First Session · Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville
Bring me your question.
Let’s see how your body responds.
You have tried what seemed logical, yet something keeps returning, resists change, or remains hard to understand? You do not need to choose an approach before coming in.
Explore the session A first meeting to observe, intervene, and clarify what comes next.Where do we begin?
What you notice most may not be the whole question.
Back discomfort may be what brings you in. You may also notice a shoulder that moves less freely, an uncertain stance, or tension you have learned to live with.
These things may be connected. They may not be. That is exactly what we are going to explore.
I take time to look at the person and their responses as a whole to determine what deserves attention first.
How the session moves forward
Observe what matters. Do what is needed. Make the next direction clearer.
Put your situation to the test
We choose a useful response to observe—a movement, stance, strength output, or another reference that matters to you.
Follow the leverage
I use what is needed according to the responses we observe, without limiting the session to one modality.
Make the next step visible
We clarify what changed, what it tells us, and the next step for continuing your progress.
Beyond the appointment
A session that continues after you leave.
Two hours to explore your question without limiting the work to a predetermined approach. Discussion, testing, intervention, and reassessment according to what your body shows us.
After the session, you receive a personalized summary: what we explored, the changes observed, what remains, and the relevant directions to consider next.
One session, one example
What if the question did not end at the shoulder?
A man had experienced shoulder pain for about two months. He had tried exercises, yet the limitation remained. In his place, would you have thought of stretching, strengthening, or working on shoulder control?
We tested his movement, then explored a forearm scar from a hedge-trimmer accident several months earlier. After that work, we repeated the test: his response had changed.
Would you have thought to test the scar? That is why you can come with a question. I investigate with you what deserves testing, including something that was not obvious from the shoulder complaint alone. The scar is just one example.
Video in French. A real session: the movement tested, another variable explored, and the response observed on retest.
A different question, a different response
She came in with hypersensitivity. Why was I testing her legs?
She came in with heightened sensitivity to certain sounds—misophonia that was affecting her daily life.
As I questioned her body, I tested both straight-leg raises: approximately 52° on each side. She had no hip pain or complaint, even though this mobility was less available than expected.
The work focused on her nervous system and what was organizing her response to sensory input—not on her hips. On retest, both legs reached 75°.
The nervous system contributes both to sensory processing and to the organization of movement. The retest showed that her body was already integrating the change: her activated state was taking up less space in this response, leaving more room for movement, freedom, and mobility.
The straight-leg raises were not the goal. They showed us how the body was integrating the change.
Approximately +23° on both sides in the same session, without direct work on the hips.
Time to do the work without rushing what it reveals.

My commitment
You do not have to determine the right approach yourself. I take responsibility for the exploration and orient the work according to what emerges.
If, by the end of the session, no concrete change can be demonstrated in the responses we tested, the session is on me.
Frequently asked question
How is this different from a first POSTURA or KINESIS appointment?
A first POSTURA or KINESIS appointment lasts 90 minutes. That additional time is there for the first contact and beginning the work within the approach you selected.
The First Session gives us two hours devoted to your question without limiting the work to a predetermined approach. I use the relevant tools according to what your body shows. It also includes a personalized summary prepared after your appointment, helping you understand what changed and which elements point toward the most useful next step for you.

Bring what still has no answer.
I will look at where to begin. We will see what your body lets us observe today and which direction makes sense next.
